Biography

Onyebuchi Chikezie. Nosiri received his B. Eng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, M. Eng in Electronic and Computer Engineering (Telecommunication option) and PhD degrees in Telecommunication Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State in 2001, 2009 and 2015 respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor at department of Telecommunication Engineering, School of Electrical systems Engineering and Technology, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. He has served in various capacities in the University as SIWES coordinator, Quality Assurance coordinator in Department and School, Class Adviser, Chaired various committees, Examination and timetable officer, Result vetting officer, Member in various University committees, Deputy Director University Computer Centre and currently the acting Director Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICTC), FUTO. His research interests are in Wireless and Radio Engineering, Data communication, Machine learning, Cognitive radio and digital signal processing (DSP). He has more than 12 years experience in teaching in Telecommunication Engineering courses and has to his credit over 50 journal publications and conference papers. He has supervised eight master students in Telecommunication Engineering option as the main supervisor and co-supervised two (2) PhD students. He serves as a reviewer and editorial board member in so many International Journals in Science and Engineering such as Advances in Science, Technology and Engineering Systems Journal (ASTESJ), International Journal of Computer Networks & Communications (IJCNC), AIRCC Publishing Corporation, International Journals of Science and Engineering Investigations (IJSEI), American Journal of Networks and Communication, Science PG and also as a reviewer in Futojournals, Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He is a member of some professional bodies such as; the Nigerian Society of Engineering, Council for the regulation of Engineering (COREN) and IEEE. He is happily married with children and a Noble Member Sacred Order of Knighthood of St. Christopher (KSC), Anglican Communion Knight.
