Biography

Mr Amarachi Orji is Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Soil Science and Technology (HOD), Federal University of Technology Owerri.  Mr Amarachi Orji obtained a Bachelor of Agric. Tech. (Second Class Lower Division)   in Crop Production in 2000 and Master of Science Degree in Soil Conservation in 2010 from Ebonyi State Uiversity, Ebonyi State. In 2018, he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in affilition with National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna. Mr Amarachi Orji worked as a classroom teacher in the Ebonyi State Secondary Education Board for about 21 years and taught science subjects like Agricultural Science, Chemistry and Physics. He joined the services of the Federal University of Technology Owerri in 2021 and lectures in the Department of Soil Science and Technology. He has to his credit, some peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international journals.   He has served in the Department of Soil Science and Technology as Class adviser.  His hobby includes reading and writing short stories and poems. He is married with five children.
