Biography

Augusta Ndidi Eke is a Technologist at Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. She is currently the Deputy Chief Technologist in the Department of Food Science and Technology, School of Engineering & Engineering Technology (SEET). She has worked on the effect of fermentation on the composition of Oil palm and Raphia palm wines. Her current research interest bothers on extraction of biobased antioxidants for various industrial applications. She is a co-researcher on the bio-inhibitive corrosion effect of some plant extracts on mild steel in 0.1M HCl solution, where her role is testing the microbial and biochemical antioxidative assay of several plant extracts. Augusta Ndidi Eke hails from Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha-South LGA, of Delta State, Nigeria.
