Biography

Ihetughe Chizoba Lynda is a versatile professional who has successfully transitioned from a retail advisor in 9mobile to a technologist at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO). With over 8 years of invaluable experience in the telecommunications industry and a passion for technology, Lynda has made significant strides in her career.

She was born and raised in Nigeria. Her educational journey began at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), where she obtained a degree in Education and Computer Science and a postgraduate diploma in Information Technology at the Federal University of Technology Owerri.

Lynda’s journey began in the telecommunications sector, where she worked as a retail advisor at 9mobile one of Nigeria’s leading telecommunications companies. She joined as a Retail Advisor, where her strong interpersonal skills and dedication quickly made her a trusted expert in the world of telecommunications. In this role, she gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, and product knowledge. Her exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to understand customer needs allowed her to excel in her position, earning her recognition and accolades.

Driven by her passion for technology and a desire to expand her horizons, Lynda made a career transition to the field of technology. She joined the Federal University of Technology Owerri as a technologist, leveraging her previous experience and skills to contribute to the university’s technological advancements.

As a technologist at FUTO, Lynda plays a crucial role in supporting the university’s technological infrastructure. She is responsible for managing and maintaining computer systems, networks, and software applications. Her expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving ensures that the university’s technological resources are functioning optimally, enabling smooth operations, and enhancing the learning experience for students and faculty members.

Lynda’s experience in the telecommunications industry brings a unique perspective to her role as a technologist.
