Biography

Dr Anyanwu is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Management. He has been involved in tackling environmental issues through research and the delivery of expertise in Environmental Pollution Control and Management, Policy Making, Conservation/Ecosystem Services and Environmental impact analysis. Dr Anyanwu is an excellent communicator and writer with over 40 published articles in international journals. He has attended several conferences and workshops and has delivered lectures at various fora. He served as postgraduate coordinator of the Department of Environmental Management in FUTO for eight (8) years. Dr Anyanwu has supervised over 50 undergraduate projects and over 20 postgraduate projects. He is IT competent with the ability to use statistical software for data analysis. He mentors the younger ones, and is actively involved in several community development services. His hobbies include reading and writing, listening to music, gardening, playing football and table tennis. He has written some novels and motivational books outside his area of specialization. Dr Anyanwu played football at club level, and is presently a chorister at St. Francis Catholic Church (Special Jurisdiction), Liberty Estate, Ebikoro Obinze, Owerri.
