Dr. Uhuegbulem Ifeyinwa Josephine was born into the family of Late (Prof) and Mrs. Felicia Ngozi Onwuagba of Aboh village Nnokwa in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State. She had her primary, secondary and tertiary education at FUTO Staff Primary School, Owerri Girls Secondary School and Federal University of Technology, Owerri respectively. She joined the services of the Federal University of Technology Owerri on the 12th of August, 2011 as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Agric-Economics. She further proceeded to the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike for her Post graduate program where she was successfully awarded her Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Finance under TETFund sponsorship granted by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
Her research interests are in the areas of Agricultural finance and Rural development, Agribusiness Management, Food Security, Poverty and value chain analysis and She had made significant contributions to the field of Agric-Economics/Agribusiness with over 30 peer reviewed scientific publications to her name. She is also an ordained Minister of God in The Redeemed Christian Church of God and she is happily married to Dcn.Felix Uhuegbulem of Amaegbu Ogwa and their marriage is blessed with five lovely children.
