Biography

Engr. Dr. Chijioke Peter Egole was born on the 11th day of May 1983 in Orlu, Imo state Nigeria. He passed first school leaving certification examination (FSLC) in 1996 at the Umuhu-Okabia Central School, OrsuL.G.A. Imo State Nigeria. He attended Bishop Shanahan College Orlu and obtained (SSCE). Engr. Dr. C. P. Egole holds Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng 2010, FUTO) and Master of Engineering (M.Eng 2014, FUTO) in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering Technology. He obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (PhD UNILAG, 2022) at the University of Lagos, Lagos State Nigeria. Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole belongs to professional bodies such as Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Currently, Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole is a Lecturer1 at the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State Nigeria. Since September 2014, Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole has taught several undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Workshop Technology I (ENG 101), Workshop Technology II (ENG 102), Workshop Technology III (ENG 201), Introduction to Engineering Materials I (ENG 207), Introduction to Engineering Materials II (ENG 208), Advanced Engineering Materials II (ENG 308), Physical Metallurgy I (MME 206), Physical Metallurgy II (MME 407), Physical Properties of Materials (MME 313), Crystallography, X-Ray Diffraction and Electron Microscopy (MME 505), Foundry Technology (MME 516) and Advanced Crystallography (MME 803). He has supervised more than 30 undergraduate projects. Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole has served in several departmental and faculty committees. Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole has interest in Physical Metallurgy, Heat Transfer Systems, Foundry Technology and Manufacturing systems, Additive Manufacturing, Nanofluid Technology, Computational Fluid Dynamics and others. He has 16 publications in high quality international peer reviewed journals. Engr. Dr. C.P. Egole is open for both local and international collaborations in these areas and similar engineering fields.
