Biography

Uja, E.U is a Research Fellow 1 in the Institute of Erosion Studies. He is a member of the Nigeria Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE M472) as well as a member of the Nigerian Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH, AH-2004-0390). He has great passion in learning and seeking ways towards making our environment sustainably comforting for mankind dwelling. In the pursuant of the goal, his research interests has been on Environmental Engineering for sustainable development; Erosion and Flood control and mitigation; Climatology and Global warming monitoring and assessment; Desertification and Food Security. He has been a researcher in weather monitoring for more than twenty- five years, working in synergy with the Nigerian Meteorogical Institute, NIMET and that has endeared him with ample information on the trend of our weather and the possible damages it could portend to our environment.

CLIMATOLOGY, GLOBAL WARMING; UNRAVELLING THE CAUSES OF DEVASTATING EROSIVE RAINFALL IN THE HUMID TROPICAL ENVIRONMENT FOR A DURATION OF NOT LESS THAN THIRTY YEARS.
