Michael A. Nwachukwu is a Professor of Environmental Management and Sustainability, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria, founder and Director of GEOPROBE Regional Center for Sustainability Studies. My goal is to present information in a manner that allows students, practitioners and organizations gain knowledge and understanding of the concept of sustainable development and sustainability as conceived by the United Nations. To me, it is not just faculty teaching, but rather student exposure to wider knowledge and informal education of society particularly the less privileged to acquire sustainability and environmental education.
